Construction of 120-Bed Girls Dormitory at Kagera Secondary School (2024) (Finished)
In 2024, MAPEC Organization Tanzania implemented the Construction of a 120-Bed Girls Dormitory at Kagera Secondary School, with financial support from the Embassy of Japan. The project was designed to improve access to safe, secure, and appropriate accommodation for female students, particularly those travelling long distances to attend school. By providing a dedicated residential facility, the project contributes to improved school attendance, student safety, academic performance, and retention of girls in secondary education. The initiative reflects MAPEC’s commitment to promoting equal access to education and creating a supportive learning environment that enables girls to pursue their studies with dignity, confidence, and greater opportunities for future development.
