About Us

MAPEC Stands for Missenyi AIDS & Poverty Eradication Crusade, an indigenous non-Governmental organization based in Missenyi District situated at Kyaka along Uganda road highway 50 Kilometers from Bukoba urban in Kagera Region founded in March 2001 and registered in September 2001, with registration N0. SO11187, operating at National level.Following change of 2002 NGO act, MAPEC obtained certificate of compliance No. 1876 in May 2006 and has a Board of Directors and Executive Committee which forms administrative machinery of the organization. In 2023 we changed constitution and applied to operate at National level(Tanzania mainland) as initial registration was at Regional level and we were issued with new Certificate N0: 00NGO/R1/00994 of July 14th 2023.
